Pezzabyz is a small cattery, located in Northeast Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie.  We show Abyssinian cats in the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA).  We have been "owned" by Abysssinian cats since 1995.

Our love affair with the breed began with our first Aby, Bogeycats Yvette (aka Zoe) who was purchased as a pet from Jim and Carole Barkley.

Zoe brought great joy to our world for 14 years, when it became apparent that she would not be able to stay with us forever, we knew at that time that nothing but another Abyssinian would do. 

Rulissa's Sweet Be-Bay of Pezzabyz (aka "Beebles") came to live with our family in 2006.  Our original plans were just to have another pet Abyssinian, but the show bug bit.  Beebles turned into quite the show kitty, earning the title of Grand Premier in the 2006-07 show season.

The following year, in her 2007-2008 show season, Beebles won a Regional title, she was the 15th Best Cat in Premiership in the Great Lakes Region. She also received a national breed award, as the fifth best Abyssinian in the county in the Premiership class.
